How do I RSVP?
Following the dawn of the world wide web and the gradual demise of Royal Mail, we invite you to RSVP using the link on our website home page. Please RSVP by 6 May 2025.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is Morning Dress or Lounge Suit. Morning coats or lounge suit for men and formal day dress for women (hats optional in both cases).
Where is the Wedding taking place?
The ceremony is at St Giles Church, Wimborne St Giles, BH21 5LZ. The reception will be held at St Giles House, which is a hop, skip and potentially a jump (i.e. approximately 5 mins walk) from the church.
Should I pre-book a taxi to/from the Wedding?
Yes, absolutely! Please see the Travel section for details of local taxi companies.
Will the Wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Whilst we (optimistically) hope to raise a glass in the sunshine, the majority of the ceremony and reception will be indoors. Please note that there is a five-minute walk from the church to St Giles House, so if it's a wet day, we recommend BYOB (brollies).
Is parking available?
There is free parking at the Walled Car Park at St Giles House, which is a five-minute walk from the Church.
Are children or plus-ones invited?
We've filled the venue with as many of our friends and family as we can so, unfortunately, we don't have room for any additional guests (big or small) other than those named on the invitation or babes-in-arms.
Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
Please inform us of any dietary requirements when you RSVP, so we can update our caterers and make sure that there is something delicious for you to eat.
What is the order of events?
On the Friday evening, we have arranged for casual drinks and food at the [VENUE] at St Giles House from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Our Wedding takes place on the Saturday - please see the "Order of the Day" section for timings.
Will there be a gap between the ceremony and reception?
There will be a 90-minute drinks reception which (weather permitting) will take place on the terrace of St Giles House immediately after the ceremony.
Can I take photos at your Wedding?
Yes please - we will have professional photographers on the day, but we would love for you to capture your own special (read, silly and somewhat sozzled) moments!
I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?
We will post updates in this Q&A section, otherwise feel free to ask Sophie - I will be useless.
